Read the article in which Jakub Kuneš, an associate of the Center for Economic and Market Analysis, discusses how the fact that the single market is one of the greatest successes of European integration is questioned today only by staunch opponents of the European Union as such, or by entities that would benefit from the introduction of protectionist measures. The emergence of the EU single market was a historic moment for the development of international cooperation, economic integration and the growth of wealth. Recently, however, the fundamentals of the single market have been increasingly undermined.
