Le « dégroupage » réduirait sévèrement la capacité des moteurs de recherche à innover, tout en augmentant également les barrières à l’entrée pour de nouveaux acteurs et en décourageant l’investissement dans le secteur numérique. La mesure proposée porterait atteinte à l’État de Droit en pointant du doigt une entreprise et en justifiant une intervention sans précédent sur la base d’un éventail de différentes problématiques qui ont des implications politiques disparates.
