    • Build relationships with journalists and policymakers
    • Arrange high-level meetings between our member think tank experts and EU policymakers
    • Advise the EPCICENTER’s Director on EU outreach matters.

What we are looking for:

    • A successful applicant must have outstanding communication and presentational skills.
    • In particular, they will be an exceptional speaker and writer, capable of distilling complex ideas into clear and succinct prose.
    • They will have a very well developed understanding of EU policy debates, free market economics, and classical liberal principles.
    • Relevant professional experience is an advantage, as is being multi-lingual in at least two official EU languages and having a strong academic grounding in economics, political science, public policy, or a related field. However, we are more interested in ability than credentials and are happy to consider unconventional applicants.

How to apply:

Please send a CV to abartha@epicenternetwork.eu, along with:

    1. A motivation letter of up to 500 words.
    2. Up to 500 words outlining the outreach strategy for a recent EPICENTER publication. Please highlight how your current professional connections and experience would help in realising said strategy.
    3. Any writing samples or video clips that you would like us to be aware of.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Friday, 8th  November. However, interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis and we may appoint a candidate before the deadline.

Salary is dependent on experience, within an expected range of €38,000–50,000 per annum. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, but are prepared to wait for the right candidate.

Internships

If you are interested in European issues, want to use the opportunity to engage in pan-European research and have the necessary basic knowledge about EU institutions, then this opportunity is definitely for you! You would be working with a multinational team based in ten capitals of Europe, deliver support for our research team, come up with new social media outreach methods and generally help out our staff by conducting meaningful work. Furthermore, you would have the opportunity to pursue your own research and get published on our blog.
